Flashlights can be handy while changing a flat tire or navigating your surroundings at night. So be sure to include several small LED flashlights as well as fresh batteries in your winter survival kit.

Cell phones are incredibly important in emergencies, so it’s essential to be sure you’re always traveling with a fully charged phone in the winter. Also, include an extra phone charger in your survival kit. A battery-operated charger allows you to charge your phone without having your car on.
